Launched in 2015, PMAY aims to provide affordable housing to economically weaker sections (EWS), low-income groups (LIG), and middle-income groups (MIG) across urban and rural India. It is divided into two parts:
Madhya Pradesh is one of India’s largest and most diverse states, with a substantial population in both urban centers like Bhopal, Indore, and Jabalpur. The PMAY MP initiative ensures that whether you’re living in a city or a remote village, you have a chance at safe, dignified housing. In Madhya Pradesh, both branches of PMAY are implemented through coordinated efforts between state and central government agencies, ensuring housing access for all sections. The MP Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has already helped lakhs of families across both urban and rural regions through direct construction, financial assistance, and interest subsidies.
