The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) Konkan Board has officially begun an online lottery for 5,285 affordable housing units, along with 77 residential plots, spanning Thane, Mira Bhayandar, Navi Mumbai, and Sindhudurg (Konkan region).
Overview of Housing Options & Pricing
- A total of 5,362 units and plots are available, including premium locations like Sanpada and Nerul.
- Projects include:
- Pyramid Developers (Nerul): 9 units priced between ₹24–31 lakhs (EWS/LIG)
- DPVG Ventures LLP: 11 units at ₹14–25 lakhs
- Neelkanth Infotech (Ghansoli): 11 units priced ₹16–25 lakhs
- Kamdhenu Grandeur (Sanpada): 9 EWS units at ₹24–29 lakhs
- Other notable developers: Abhidharshan Corporation (Titwala), Metro Dream Homes (Daighar), Sadguru Developers (Titwala), and Glory Township (Thane).
Scheme Structure
The lottery is divided into five key categories:
- 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme
- 15% Integrated Urban Housing Scheme
- Konkan Board Housing Scheme (1,677 flats)
- 50% Affordable Housing allocation (41 flats)
- Category-specific quotas ensure broad access across EWS, LIG, and other groups
Important Dates for Applicants
- Provisional list of eligible applications: August 21, 2025, at 6 PM
- Final list release: September 1, 2025, at 6 PM
- Computerized lottery draw: September 3, 2025, at 10 AM at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium, Thane
Results will be communicated via SMS, email, and the official mobile app
How to Participate
- Interested applicants must register and apply online through MHADA’s portal within the designated application window.
- Follow the eligibility rules, including domicile requirements, income limits, and official document uploads—such as ITR receipts, PAN, and Aadhaar details.
- Payment of application fees (EMD) is mandatory, and refunds will be processed per MHADA’s refund policy (if not selected).
